Alison Chains grew up cranky and irreverent in the punk pits of Brooklyn, NY. She decided to start the Long Island Roller Rebels, where she finished off her first season voted "dirtiest player" and earning the most ejections in the league. She was given her skater name on account of her habit of favoring the use of chains as a tool in her infamous fits of mania. After a particularly crazy night, Chains decided she needed a change of weather, and Texas seemed like a good place to start. She grabbed Sparks, her favorite referee, and headed south. While searching one night for a good place to get a cold drink in a hot city, she sloshed into Headhunters and ran straight into some scary-looking ladies in green and black. It was love at first sight.
